He believes in Condoleeza’s Rice observation that bilateral civilian nuclear cooperation will be the key in expanding Indo-US relationship. According to Tellis, as the centre of gravity shifts towards Asia and as Asia’s share of the global economy threatens to become 50 per cent by 2025, its imperative for Indo-US partnership to construct a stable geopolitical order in Asia that is conducive to peace and prosperity.
